In Loving Memory of Zanna Brown
We are truly blessed to have had her grace our lives. Her contagious smile, gentleness, and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all. Zanna was not only our wonderful neighbour and friend, but she had also selflessly devoted her time and energy to organising our neighbourhood watch group. She worked tirelessly to bring us all together with regular meetings to ensure the safety of the community.
We are deeply saddened by her passing yet take solace in finding comfort in the wonderful memories we shared with her.
Hugh, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and we hope that knowing she touched so many lives brings you some measure of peace.
Rest in peace Zanna, forever in our hearts.

BROWN, Susanna Llewellyn. Dearly beloved Zanna died peacefully at home, with Hugh by her side, on Wednesday the 22nd of February 2023, aged 81. Adored wife of Hugh, sister of Colin, loved stepmother to Jeremy and Rebecca, godmother to Suzie and Raewyn, Zanna will be sadly missed by her family and numerous friends. Zanna trained as a physio at Guys Hospital London and finished her career at CCS Auckland caring for spina bifida children; a notable figure in the medical community. A celebration of Zanna’s life will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100 Saint Johns Road, Saint Johns, Auckland at 12 noon on Saturday the 4th of March 2023. Zanna you gentle beautiful lady. I was so saddened to hear of your passing. I hold very fond memories of our time together and your constant quiet support. A special lady indeed.

Zanna and Hugh have been a part of our cherished neighbourhood since we moved to the area and our two children (now teenagers) were born.
We loved Zanna’s constant good cheer good humour and kindness, she had dedicated her working life to looking after others, too. We enjoyed the feijoas from the Grand Drive house that she and Hugh lived in at first, and oranges from the Gerard Way house.
We will all miss you, Zanna
