Today we start with the word AUREI - which is the plural of the word Aureus, a Roman coin of the late republic and empire, worth 25 silver denarii. The result is one green in ” E ” and one yellow in ” N “.

The next word is INLET and this produces another yellow in ” N “. We have forgotten to test for the presence of the vowel ” O “, so we type in the letter NOISE. The alphabet ” O ” is not in the answer. Going by the other letters that have not being used as yet, we enter the word PINEY (meaning related to or covered with Pine Trees), we get the correct answer.

Result so far: Games Played Continuously : 243. Games won : 241. Current number of streaks : 171.

Line # 1: AUDIO. This five-lettered word consists of four vowels A, I, O, and U. Result: Only one yellow in letter “I”. Yellow means right letter but in the wrong position.

Line # 2: INLET. This is meant to test if the missing vowel “E” is in the answer (solution). Result: “I”, “N”, and “T” are greens, meaning that they are the right letters in the right positions. Vowel “E” is yellow, that is right letter but in the wrong position. Clearly therefore the letter “E” must lie in the third position of the word.

Line # 3: INEPT. All greens, that is to say, all correct.

244 games played. 242 games won, adding up the displayed numbers against the number of attempts to get 242 (that is 4 + 78 + 116 + 37 + 7 = 242). Current number of streaks is 242 - 70 = 172.
