Day 13: Wednesday 11th April 2018 - Kanazawa - Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa

In the morning we boarded a chartered car to have a full day’s trip to the ancient village of Takayama. Its relatively remote and isolated location had allowed them to have kept its ancient Edo period streets, lined with tiny shops, small unique museums and eating places that survived to this day. The city is famed for its biannual Takayama Festival, going back to at least the mid-1600s, celebrating spring and fall with parades featuring ornate, gilded floats and puppet shows. 

We enjoyed a good lunch of the famous Wagyu beef in one of these shops.

早上我们包车前往高山古村进行一整天的行程。它相对偏远和偏僻的位置使他们能够保留其古老的江户时代街道，两旁是小商店、小型独特的博物馆和至今仍然存在的饮食场所。这座城市以其一年两次的高山节而闻名，至少可以追溯到 1600 年代中期，以华丽的镀金花车和木偶戏为特色的游行庆祝春天和秋天。  我们在其中一家商店享用了著名的和牛牛肉的美味午餐。

Takayama gained importance as a source of high quality timber and highly skilled carpenters during the feudal ages. The city was consequently put under direct control of the shogun and enjoyed quite a bit of prosperity considering its remote mountain location. 

在封建时代，高山作为优质木材和技艺高超的木匠的来源地获得了重要地位。这座城市因此被置于幕府将军的直接控制之下，考虑到其偏远的山区位置，这座城市享有相当多的繁荣。

The chartered car took us next to the rural village of Shirakawago. This is a world heritage village, nestled in the mountains beside a pristine mountain river. We strolled around this fascinating village with its famous thatched roofs.

包车带我们到了白川乡村旁边。这是一个世界遗产村庄，依偎在原始山河旁的群山之中。我们在这个有着著名茅草屋顶的迷人村庄漫步。

Shirakawa is a village located in Ono District, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It is best known for being the site of Shirakawa-go, a small, traditional village showcasing a building style known as gassho-zukuri. Together with Gokayama in Nanto, Toyama, it is one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. 

白川村位于日本岐阜县小野区。它以白川乡的遗址而闻名，这是一个传统的小村庄，展示了一种被称为合掌造的建筑风格。它与富山南都的五箇山一起，是联合国教科文组织的世界遗产之一。

Day 14: Thursday 12th April 2018 - Kanazawa - Tokyo

We travelled back to Tokyo by the new Hokuriku Bullet Train line, the “Gran” Class, arriving mid afternoon. There was a light lunch served on the coach of the train. We were checked into Imperial Hotel Tokyo for the night.

我们乘坐新的北陆子弹头列车“Gran”班回到东京，下午中午到达。火车的车厢上供应清淡的午餐。我们入住了东京帝国酒店过夜。

In the afternoon, we visited the Cup Noodle Museum on our own as our tour guide’s contract ended at 2:30pm. He had kindly given us his advice as regards to where we should spend our time for the rest of our time in Japan. So, we spent the afternoon at Cup Noodle and the entire next day for Tokyo Disneyland.

下午，我们自己参观了杯面博物馆，因为我们的导游合同在下午2:30结束。他亲切地给了我们他的建议，关于我们应该在哪里度过我们在日本的剩余时间。因此，我们在 Cup Noodle 度过了一个下午，并在东京迪士尼乐园度过了整个第二天。

CupNoodles Museum in Yokohama is a museum dedicated to the production and packaging of instant noodles and cup noodles. It also has a section dedicated to the story of the founder, Momofuku Ando, whose life motto had been “Never Give Up.”

The Museum features four stories of exhibitions and attractions.

横滨杯面博物馆是一家致力于方便面和杯面的生产和包装的博物馆。它还有一个部分专门讲述创始人安藤百福的故事，他的人生格言是“永不放弃”。  博物馆设有四个展览和景点的故事。

Day 15: Friday 13th April 2018 - Tokyo.

We spent the entire day on our own, visiting the Tokyo Disneyland. Our tour guide’s contract ended the day before at 2:30pm. He had kindly given us his advice as regards to where we should spend our time for the rest of our time in Japan. So, we spent the entire Friday 13th April at Disneyland and had late dinner in the Hotel.

Tokyo Disneyland is a 115-acre theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, near Tokyo. Its main gate is directly adjacent to both Maihama Station and Tokyo Disneyland Station. It was the first Disney park to be built outside the United States and it opened on April 15, 1983.

东京迪士尼乐园是一个占地 115 英亩的主题公园，位于日本千叶县浦安市的东京迪士尼度假区，靠近东京。它的正门直接毗邻舞滨站和东京迪士尼乐园站。它是第一个在美国以外建造的迪士尼乐园，于 1983 年 4 月 15 日开放。

我们在东京迪士尼乐园玩得很开心。

我们还参观了位于横滨的杯面博物馆，了解了杯面是如何制造和包装的。 CupNoodles Museum Yokohama 是一家致力于方便面和杯面的博物馆。博物馆展示了创始人安藤百福的传记。博物馆设有四个展览和景点的故事。

Day 16: Saturday 14th April 2018 - Tokyo

Before we were due to leave Japan in the afternoon, we visited the Mirankan National Science Museum at the Odaiba District of Tokyo.

在我们下午离开日本之前，我们参观了东京台场区的 Mirankan National Science Museum。

The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (日本科学未来館, Nippon Kagaku Mirai-kan), simply known as the Miraikan (未来館, literally “Future Museum”), is a museum created by Japan’s Science and Technology Agency. Highlights include real-time displays of data from a huge array of seismometers across Japan which shows that the country is gently vibrating. The occasional earthquakes for which Japan is noted show up as larger movements. Visitors can search the on-line database of recent earthquake activity.

国立新兴科学与创新博物馆（日本科学未来馆，Nippon Kagaku Mirai-kan），简称未来馆（字面意思是“未来博物馆”），是由日本科学技术厅创建的博物馆。亮点包括来自日本各地大量地震仪的实时数据显示，显示该国正在轻微振动。日本著名的偶尔地震表现为更大的运动。访问者可以搜索最近地震活动的在线数据库。

In the afternoon, we left for the airport at 3:45pm and took Japan Airlines Flight JL771 departing Narita Airport at 7:25pm to Sydney, arriving at Sydney Airport at 6:10 am on the 17th April 2018.

下午3点45分出发前往机场，乘坐日本航空JL771航班于7点25分从成田机场起飞前往悉尼，于2018年4月17日早上6点10分抵达悉尼机场。

We were at the Hotel Lobby at 3:25pm for our Pickup to the Airport.
