Before we start writing, we need to plan the essay. Reflect on the title and then plan the introductory paragraph, the two or three ‘body’ paragraphs, and the concluding paragraph. We follow the AIDA plan. A is for Arousing the readers’ ATTENTION. I is for getting the readers’ INTEREST. D is for getting the readers’ Desire to read more, and the second A stands for ACTION, calling readers to act.
