Memorial Service held on:

10:30 am at:

Auckland Chinese Baptist Church, Rawhiti Road, Onehunga.

Burial: Saturday, 7th August, 2021 at 3pm - Waikumete Cemetery, 4128A, Great North Road, Glen Eden, Auckland.

The service started with an opening prayer by Church Pastor Choo in English, translated to Mandarin by Brother Harry Lam.

礼拜以朱建辉牧师的英文开场祷告开始，林锦昌弟兄翻译成普通话。

2 Timothy 4:6-8 ⁶ For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. ⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. ⁸ Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day — and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Reverend Man Kwan Chang message was short and sweet. Lily Lai Lin Tsang was a devoted Christian even before her arrival to New Zealand with her husband Wha Kee Tsang and their two children from Hong Kong. Her husband did not believe in Christ until much later when he saw the Christ’s kindness and caring attitude in her. Her husband was later baptised into Christianity by Reverend Man. Now it time for Lily to depart and be with her husband. She had kept her faith in Christ. Now the crown of righteousness was for her which the Lord, the righteous Judge, had awarded to her on this day.

万广样牧师的信息简短而甜蜜。 曾凌丽莲早在她与丈夫 Wha Kee Tsang 和他们来自香港的两个孩子来到新西兰之前，她就是一位虔诚的基督徒。她的丈夫直到很久以后才在她身上看到基督的仁慈和关怀的态度时才相信基督。她的丈夫后来被曼牧师洗礼为基督教徒。现在是莉莉离开和她丈夫在一起的时候了。她一直信靠基督。公义的冠冕是耶和华，公义的审判者，在这一天赐给她的。

The sharing moments in the late Lily Tsang’s life came from her son, Bobby, her daughter Gayble, her nephew Steven, her grandson Jonathan and her Church friend Angela Lok.

已故曾莉莉生活中的分享时刻来自她的儿子鲍比、女儿盖博、侄子史蒂文、孙子乔纳森和她的教会朋友安吉拉。

Lily Tsang’s parents died when she was young and she was looked after and cared for my her Aunt. Her youthful days were difficult but she found her faith in Jesus Christ in those tiring times. a few years after her marriage to Wha Kee, the family immigrated to New Zealand (from Hong Kong) and worked in Chinese restaurants of their own. Her husband was an established Cantonese chef and therefore he was in charge of the kitchen, making sure that the Cantonese dishes they served were of the best quality, Lily herself took charge of everything else - stock purchases, front office bookings, restaurant staff allocations, customers’ services, and overall accounting. At any time, she was busy with doing multiple tasking, two or three or even four concurrent jobs.

曾凌丽莲 的父母在她很小的时候就去世了，她被她的阿姨照顾。她年轻的日子很艰难，但在那段疲惫的时光里，她找到了对耶稣基督的信仰。她与华记结婚几年后，全家移民到新西兰（从香港），并在自己的中餐馆工作。她的丈夫是一位知名的粤菜厨师，因此他负责厨房，确保他们提供的粤菜质量最好，莉莉自己负责其他一切——库存采购，前台预订，餐厅员工分配，客户服务和整体会计。任何时候，她都忙于处理多项任务，两三个甚至四个并发的工作。

Lily Tsang was always cheerful and forever positive, looking constantly on the brighter side of any situation. One of her favourite tasks was the spreading of the gospel to her restaurant customers and friends. Her husband Wha Kee passed away in the year 1996 and her work as a widow was devoted to her Church - Auckland Chinese Baptist Church as well as working full time in a departmental store. Upon her retirement, she spent her last fifteen years volunteering at the Auckland City Hospital and organising and leading tours (both local in New Zealand and cruises to far away places, like Canada) for her friends.

曾凌丽莲 总是很开朗，永远积极向上，总是在任何情况下都看向光明的一面。她最喜欢的任务之一是向餐厅的顾客和朋友传播福音。她的丈夫华记于1996年去世，她作为寡妇的工作致力于她的教会 - 奥克兰华人浸信会，并在一家百货公司全职工作。退休后，她在奥克兰市医院度过了最后 15 年的志愿服务期，并为她的朋友组织和带领旅行团（包括新西兰当地和加拿大等遥远地方的游轮）。

Lily Tsang’s social life centred round her church friends and the church’s children. She organised social events in the Church - Mother’s and Father’s Day, Church Anniversaries, Church outings - and took pains at making sure of making individual birthday cards for each child at the church’s Sunday school.

曾凌丽莲 的社交生活以她教会的朋友和教会的孩子为中心。她在教堂组织社交活动——母亲节和父亲节、教堂周年纪念日、教堂郊游——并努力确保为教堂主日学校的每个孩子制作个人生日贺卡。曾凌丽莲晚年患上癌症，做过多次手术。但她从不抱怨，保持着积极的姿态。 “这是上帝的旨意，”是她经常听到的乐观评论。

Lily Tsang suffered from cancer in her later life and had many operations. Yet she never complained and kept up her positive posture. “It’s God’s Will,” was her often-heard optimistic remark.

Lily Tsang had been blessed with a rich Christian life and she will be remembered as a truthful follower of the Lord. She will be sadly missed by her family members and her dear friends.

曾凌丽莲蒙福拥有丰富的基督徒生活，她将被铭记为忠实的主追随者。她的家人和亲爱的朋友们会悲伤地想念她。
