Take a look at Maddie
Maddie Who? You ask. Take a look at her at the following websites:
She is on the dialysis machine every night for ten hours due to a rare kidney dysfunction from birth. Her body had rejected her father’s kidney on a transplant operation.
Her mother’s kidney is of no help.
She needs a kidney from the right person, a pretty rare person, hard to find in New Zealand.
She needs an organ (kidney) transplant soon and that only likely person must be in the States where the population base is a lot greater than that in New Zealand.
Yet, Maddie is bouncy and happy. She even has time to design and sew pillow cases for children at Starship Hospital on a voluntary basis.
Maddie deserves our help in getting her to the State.
A small act of kindness is now required from us.
Act, if you please.
